My name is Neil Rischall I am a CPA licensed in NY State whose accounting practice takes care of small business accounts. I imagine you would like to get to know me better before you would ever trust me with your accounting needs . Q. What is your favorite thing about accounting ?

People. I love meeting new people and learning about their dreams, aspirations and fears. Then my job is to help them finance their dreams, enourage them to reach what they aspire for and calm them about issues of money, accounting and taxes that scares them. My clients often become good friends that share things with me that they do not with many other people. I enjoy listening to people, and I see people like to share when they feel someone cares about them.

Q. What makes you different than other accountants ?

Fear. Some accountants like to thrive on making their clients afraid of the IRS, banks or any organization that can hurt us financially. This is in order to create a feeling of dependency that may not be necessary. Life is full of so many things that we fear I think it is inapropriate to enhance any fears we have. I view my role is to instill a feeling of confidence that my clients finances are under control. 

Q. How do I know that you are really a CPA  ?

That is a good question offline, I am suprised how few people actually ask, and an even better question online. Fortunately online most things are easier such as researching my qualifications.
